Ten Signs of Happiness from Eating Raw

Filed under: health, raw vegan — health @ 12:07 pm

Ok, everyone by now has probably heard how some celebs have tried the “raw food” trend. But how many of you know that there actually is a real raw food lifestyle in which more and more people are finding huge benefits?

The trendy raw food diets are not the healthiest (high fat, complicated recipes, low in carbohydrates, low in water content), but there is a more logical approach that doesn’t get as much press. That of a high fruit and green diet, eaten raw. Athletes are getting a huge increase in their potential by following such a diet.

I think that one of these days the word is going to spread and a celeb is going to try a more healthful raw food diet and the popularity will surge.

Here are some benefits my friends and I have experienced:

Ten Signs of Happiness from Eating Raw

  • 1) You don’t need gas for cooking, and if you live in a warm climate, you don’t have to pay for gas at all anymore.
  • 2) When you are following a healthy lifestyle, other people don’t have to pay for your gas anymore.
  • 3) You have placed a cutting board over your unused oven, expanding your working kitchen space.
  • 4) You can count the number of ingredients in your meal on one hand, and you can pronounce all of them. You don’t need “accessories” with your meals in order to help them digest, such as antacids or enzyme supplements, because you are now eating human food.
  • 5) You no longer need soap when washing dishes. Cooking oils and dried cooked crud are things of the past. Washing becomes rinsing and is done in a minute.
  • 6) Sleeping like a baby doesn’t mean anything unusual to you.
  • 7) Your old friend Mr. Acne no longer visits, and you didn’t have to spend a dime on cleansers or drugs.
  • 8 ) If your raw diet is also low in fat, you no longer need deodorants and anti-perspirants.
  • 9) You can hardly remember what it was like to get headaches, colds, and flus.
  • 10) You laugh when you remember how you used to live in fear of coming into contact with germs, and you now have no hesitation being around those who are sick. Your friends appreciate you for this when they are sick.

If I were to have a raw potluck, how should I invite people?

Filed under: health, raw vegan, raw health — health @ 2:44 pm

I know some friends have gone to movie screenings which were managed online by the FilmPR.com RSVP system.  There is a page about the online invitation RSVP system here.  It has a brief textual overview, but there aren’t any examples of how the evite / invitation system really works.  Does anyone have any more information about this?

Hopefully many people besides myself will comment on your post.

I believe I have answered these questions in The 80/10/10 Diet.
Have you read that book yet? I strongly recommend it.

Health comes from healthful living.
The main difference between the Hygienic system and all others is
that Hygiene states that the substances forces influences and
conditions required for health when in health are the same as
those required for health when in sickness, and only need to be
modified to meet individual requirements. All other systems utilize
different substances forces influences and conditions in sickness
as compared to in health.
This means that the two cannot be rectified.
Hope this helps.

Metabolic rate is not generally accountable for people’s differences

Metabolic rate does not appreciably influence the scenario you
mention, no.
Digestive efficiency does, as does muscle mass, types and intensity of
training, sleep patterns, and many other factors.
According to sports science, however, metabolic rate varies less than
+ or - 2% per person from the norm.

Donating blood - not that useful??

I am still not in favor of donating or receiving blood, and certainly
not in favor of the way the system is currenly set up and utilized.
People die in hospitals constantly. They have a ready supply of
blood at all times, if they would simply use the blood of those who
recently died, where appropriate or necessary.
Donating blood seems to me to be more of a public relations
scheme than a true medical function. It seems strange to me that
you can donate blood but that that very same blood would be sold
to you at extravagent prices were you to receive it in a transfusion.
It seems odd that you can donate blood but cannot have it saved
for your own access should you need it later, meaning that you
must rely upon someone else’s blood in the case of a transfusion.
It seems odd to me that in the light of the fact that blood will be
rejected, every time, that more saline isn’t given instead of whole
blood.
