I live on raw chopped salads and grains and just love it. Raw chopped veggies make me feel alive and filled with vital energy. Cooked foods make me sluggish. The most important aspect of the raw diet, for me, is to eat organic and as local as possible. A backyard garden or local co-op is ideal. This way there is also the benefits of less ecological impact and it incorporates the macrobiotics of your region.

About time! I’ve been on a diet like this most of my life. From time to time I eat chicken and fish, but mostly fruits and vegetables. I’m 62 yrs. old and I cycle, play full-court basket ball, lift weights, and do martial arts. People don’t believe my age or that I eat very little and when I eat it’s mostly fruits & vegetables.
