I am still learning all the ins-and-outs of the vegan cancer diet, and will try to explain each aspect as I learn more.
I can say this: my husband is a terminal cancer patient, given 3-6 months to live seven weeks ago. With the immediate adoption of a vegan diet and some other supplements, we have just had our THIRD CT scan today - with NO change to his cancer. This may sound bad. But this is, in fact, incredibly good news.Â

In all Religions non-violence is described as a transcendental, godly quality, as stated in the Bhagavad-Gita as well as in the Koran. It is stated clearly, that violence against honest men and innocent lives are condemnable and a sin. But, in certain situations, violence is justified. So its not about being non-violent, but to be righteous and to fight against injustice and to use violence properly. If an animal or a Person are about to attack someone, and that animal or person defends himself, so violence is legitimate. And when violence is used by oppressors to enslave and dominate innocent life (Life, which has done nothing wrong to them), so counter violence is as legitimate, cuz the oppressor surely acts criminal.

I found these lil “guys” today and just HAD to purchase one. It’s a Saucer Peach. Also known as: UFO Peach, Flat Peach, Donut Peach, Saturn Peach, or Chinese Peach.
You know me…I HAD to google it.
They are only available in the summer. They are about 3 inches tall/wide. They ship hard so I am going to let it ripen for a few days before tasting. They are low in acid, tender, and extremely juicy.

My friend Sara and I were discussing a “typical day in the life of a raw, gluten-free vegan.” In all the research on nutritional healing I’m doing at the moment, a recurring theme is, “You don’t need to live on salads to live raw!”
Well, that’s great, but when you’re just starting out, I think that salads make the most sense. It’s overwhelming to think about radically changing your lifestyle, of giving up everything you know and love about food and learning to love a whole new way of eating. You will learn lots of recipes and tips and tricks along the way, but salads are a great place to start. They are easy, fast, and they help you to understand how to manage the large volume of (organic!) produce you’ll be purchasing. As in, “All else fails, throw it all in a salad and eat it up.”
